Svitlana Glaser was born in Cherkassy, Ukraine. She initially worked in the financial industry in Kiev as a bank director before moving to Germany in 2019 to devote herself entirely to her passion as a visual fine artist.
She studied at The Angel Academy of Art and The Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy under Michael John Angel & Daniel Graves and developed as a classicist under the influence of Hayezals (1791-1882) and Bouguereau (1825-1905).
Her pictures are characterized by the romantic delicacy of form and the truthfulness of expression. She remains true to her style of academic classicism and classical realism.
Many of her portraits bring out the hidden beauty of the person and breathe true life into the paintings on a higher dimension. This is intended to achieve the ideal of perfect and at the same time selective imitation of reality.
